JST (Japanese Solderless Terminal) is a standard of electrical connection used widely across many electrical components. The JST range includes a variety of connectors with varying pin-to-pin distances for a variety of applications.
JSTs are used for a variety of VESC connections & flashing cables.
This 3 pin MALE JST Connector is used to connect into the PPM housing in the VESC & is used to plug in your remote control sensor.
If you purchase the Maytech controller, you will need this plug to push into the VESC, the PPM complete cable connection is found on this link
